To Our Wider Landmark Family,

Many of you have swam at our beach, shopped at our stores, dined at our restaurants and danced within our halls. It is hard to remember all those joyous moments as we find ourselves consumed by the war against this invisible enemy.

For the first time in Landmark history we have had to close our beach, stores, restaurants, offices and halls. Whilst the scale of this crisis is daunting, I am humbled and heartened in equal measure by the everyday acts of courage and humanity which serve to remind us that better days lie ahead. I am particularly proud of our people who have volunteered their time and skills to support the Lagos State effort to fight COVID-19. As an organization, Landmark worked with YPO to set up a Lagos State COVID-19 Isolation Centre within its grounds. It is our hope that we would not only save lives but also strengthen the medical presence in our community.

We want to at this point thank you for your continued patronage and support of the Landmark vision.

Sadly, we do not know when we will open our doors again though we are certain that we will swim, shop, dine and dance in a new and improved world with the hard but necessary lessons we take away from this and we will all be better for it.

With that I leave you with a quote that resonates with me in times of difficulty –

“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.”’ – G.K. Chesteron

Best Wishes,

Paul Onwuanibe
